Website design
Custom design, not a theme with your logo dropped in. Layout, typography, motion and art direction built around what your business actually needs to say.
Web design studio · Taking projects
Parallax is a premium design and engineering studio for the web. We take businesses that have outgrown a template and give them a site that looks deliberate, reads clearly and loads before anyone thinks about leaving.
Services
Most agencies hand you off — design to one team, build to another, and the intent gets lost somewhere in between. We do both. The people who draw it are the people who ship it.
Custom design, not a theme with your logo dropped in. Layout, typography, motion and art direction built around what your business actually needs to say.
Logo refinement, colour, type and a small system your site and socials can share — enough identity to look established, not a hundred-page brand bible.
Hand-built, standards-first front ends. Semantic markup, real accessibility, and no plugin stack that breaks the week a subscription lapses.
We write the words. Most sites fail on sentences, not pixels, so we draft the pages, shape the story and tell you exactly which photography to get.
Storefronts, reservations, quote requests and payments wired into tools you already run — a checkout that feels like the rest of the site, not a rented pop-up.
Sub-second loads on the edge, structured data, Core Web Vitals and the technical detail that decides whether you appear when someone searches.
Work
Every project gets the same foundation: a bespoke design, static-first delivery on a global edge network, and no dependency that can quietly break in six months.
The menu is the homepage. Sections collapse cleanly on a phone, prices update in one place, and directions, calls and reservations are one tap from anywhere on the page.
For firms whose next client is reading the site before the first call: clear positioning, real proof, and a contact flow that asks only what you need to quote.
Inherited a site nobody can edit, or one that takes eight seconds to open? We rebuild it properly, keep the URLs that already rank, and hand you the keys.
“The old site took nine seconds to load. People were calling to ask what we actually did.”
— the reason most of our projects start
Portfolio
We built our own companies' sites before we sold a single one — a seven-location restaurant group, a loyalty platform, an operations hub and the page you are reading. Same team, same standard, same care your project gets.
A sports bar group with seven locations across Michigan and Georgia. The menu is the homepage — every item, price and sauce in one place — with each location's hours, directions and calls one tap away.
A customer-loyalty platform for local businesses, designed and engineered here — brand, marketing site and the product itself, running serverless on a global edge network.
The private operations hub behind the restaurant group — documents, assets and internal tools for seven stores and the corporate office, built to be fast and boring in the best way.
The page you are on, held to the standard we sell: hand-written HTML and CSS, no framework, no build step and nothing to load before the words appear. If we cannot do it here, we do not claim it above.
Yours would be the next one here. Start a project and see the same process from the inside.
Process
A premium result does not require a six-month discovery phase. It requires knowing what you are making before you make it.
We start with what the business does, who it is for and what the site has to accomplish. You leave the first conversation with a fixed scope, a price and a date.
Art direction and full page designs, presented in the browser rather than as flat pictures — so you approve the real thing, on the device it will be read on.
Hand-coded and deployed to a live preview link you can share. Copy, photography and content go in as we build, so there is no gap between approval and launch.
We point the domain, verify search listings and walk you through updates. Then we stay on — or hand it over entirely. The site is yours either way.

FAQ
Nothing is templated. The design is drawn for your business, the words are written for it, and the site is built by hand rather than assembled from page-builder blocks. You are buying judgement and craft, not hours in a theme editor.
Yes. The domain, the hosting account and the files are in your name. If you ever want to move on or hand it to another studio, nothing is locked up.
Yes — the content you change often is set up so you can edit it without touching design or code. If you would rather not, send the change and it goes live the same week on a retainer.
We rebuild it and migrate your content, keeping the URLs that already rank so you do not lose search traffic. Your existing site stays up until the new one is ready.
A statement page starts at $3,500, a full site at $9,500, and an ecommerce or booking build at $18,000 — see pricing for what each includes. You get a fixed quote after one conversation, before any work starts. No hourly billing, no change-order games, no surprise line items at the end.
A statement page runs about two weeks; a full site, four to six. The slowest part is usually photography and final content, so we start that on day one.
Send a note with what your business does and where it is going. You'll get a reply with a plan, a fixed price and a launch date — usually within a day.
